Washington, D.C. for Cherry Blossoms!
The Washington, D.C. trip is another spectacular railroad excursions which our group sponsors. The Washington, D.C. trips are 4 day excursions to Washington, D.C. and return. We start off in either Huntington or Charleston, WV. You will be served three meals on our railcars prepared by our chef right on the train. You will receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner to Washington. We will travel through the majestic, 65-mile New River Gorge and the Blue Ridge Mountains. When we arrive in Washington, we will board a motorcoach which will take us to our hotel. On Monday Morning, we will have breakfast at the hotel, then board the motorcoach for a full days tour. We will have dinner at Phillips Seafood Restaurant Monday night. Tuesday morning, we will again, have breakfast at the hotel, then board the motorcoach and have some more tours of the city. You will have about 5 to 6 hours on your own at the "Mall" where you will be dropped off. Tuesday night, we will have dinner at The Old Fish Market in Alexandria, VA. Wednesday morning, we make our way to the train station, and depart on our railcars at around 11am. You will be served Lunch and Dinner on our railcars, on the way home. Breakfast will be at the hotel in the morning.
