Classes of Service
The New River Train has 4 different types of seating. Listed below are descriptions of each.
Coach Service
Coach Service is seating in a standard railway coach, with an aisle down the center of the car. There are two seats on both sides of the aisle and they run the length of the car. If your party wishes to sit together, you all must board together.

Premium Seating
Premium seating is seating in a lounge or parlor type car. There are larger windows, less people, and more of a "homey" feel. You also recieve breakfast and dinner prepared on the train in route. When recieving your tickets in the mail, you will be assigned to a certain railroad car. In that car, there are no assigned seats. You will pick your seats in the morning when you board the train. Seating is first come-first serve and you may not reserve seats. If you party wishes to sit together, you all must board together.

The dome car is seating on the second floor of a railroad car, with a glass top roof dome, which enables you to have an unobstructed view of the area around you. Similar to the premium seating, this seating is also non-reserved. You will be assigned to a railroad car and you will pick your seats in the morning when you board the train. You will receive breakfast and dinner prepared on the train. If you party wishes to sit together, you all must board together.
Business Car Seating

Business car seating is really a special seating. This includes breakfast, lunch, & dinner. You will be one of 12 people limited to the Business car. The car has its own private Chef and Steward/Stewardest for the day. This car is located on the end of the train as the last car. There is an open back platform which you will be able to stand out on while traveling. On the way home, you will be the very first car on the train behind the locomotives. This seating is very limited so please make your reservations as soon as possible.
