New York City Trip!
The New York City trip is another spectacular railroad excursion which our group sponsors. The New York City Trips are 4 day trips. We travel on our private luxury railcars on the back of Amtrak, to New York City, traveling through the Majestic New River Gorge, Blue Ridge Mountains, and up the North East Corridor. You will have Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner served to you on the train, each day of travel (Sunday & Wednesday) which is prepared by our chef, on our railcars. When we arrive in Newark, NJ, we will detrain, and board a motorcoach to get to our hotel, which is located in Linden, NJ. The next morning, we will board NJ Transit and take about a 20 minute ride into New York City. We will arrive in New York Penn Station downtown where you will receive a 48 hour, hop on-hop off Grey Line Sightseeing pass. After that, you will be on your own to do as you please at your pace. On early Wednesday morning, we will board our motorcoach and go to Newark, NJ where we will wait on our train to board our railcars. We will head back to Charleston & Huntington and arrive back in Huntington around 9:45pm.
