Cancelation Policy, Important Information and Disclaimers
Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel your tickets up until 30 days prior to the trip, however there is a $20.00 per ticket charge for cancelling. Please call our office to cancel at: 866-639-747 and please have your name, and which rail excursion you purchased ready so we can look up your information.
Seating:
Greenbrier Excursions: You will be seated in an Amtrak Passenger car. You will be seated in an Amtrak Passenger car and be assigned seats upon boarding the train, by Amtrak personnel. If the train is MORE THAN 2 hours late, we may travel to and from The Greenbrier by way of Motorcoach. There are no refunds given if this shall happen.
Long Distance Trips (New York or Washington, DC.): Car assignments will be made in one of our two lounge cars. There is no reserved seating! You will be assigned to a seat in one of our two railroad cars. After all passengers are boarded, including passengers boarding in Charleston, WV, passengers may change seats to their comfort. Assigned seating is to allow everyone in each party, to sit together.

The C.P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society and its representatives act only as agents for the passengers with respect to rail transportation, food service, and other services offered, and as such hold themselves free of any liability for any injury, delay, loss, equipment failure, substitution, or damage from any cause whatsoever, as well as, if there are any schedule changes, weather problems, and tardiness of the train.
Railroad equipment may be subsituted at anytime for some unforseen reason. We are not responsible tardiness of the train.
The sponsoring organization is a non-profit 501©3 organization and is operating the train trip to help fund restoration of railroad equipment, maintain its museum, and associated railroad historical projects.
